The classic MXR Micro Amp gets a stereo upgrade.
Jack White’s Third Man Hardware has joined forces with the legendary MXR to bring a classic boost pedal circuit back to life with their new Double Down pedal.
The Double Down combines two different MXR Micro Amp boost pedals into a single enclosure – allowing you to output two different levels of boost from one convenient location.

The Double Down splits your guitar signal into two separate outputs, and each output features its own Gain knob with up to +26dB of boost. Perfect for people running two separate amplifiers in a stereo setup or those looking to push two different signal chains with varying levels of boost.
The Double Down also features a Phase switch on the left side that inverts the phase of the second output for a stereophonic effect.
And the double down can be run in true bypass or buffered bypass which can be changed using a switch on the righthand side of the pedal.
The Double Down is currently available for preorder through the Third Man Records website and through Reverb (Reverb is also offering a Reverb-exclusive, limited edition Yellow variant).
